1. Who we are
Shiny Occasions is operated by SSAN LTD, company number 17429256, registered in England and Wales. Our registered office is International House, 51 Borough High Street, London, SE1 1NB, United Kingdom. This is our registered office and is not a returns address. Please contact us before sending any return.
2. Products and prices
We aim to describe products clearly and avoid unsupported claims. Prices are in pounds sterling and include any taxes that apply. Delivery and any discount are shown before payment. We do not add paid extras by default.
Product photographs may differ slightly because of screens and lighting. Illustrative placeholders on the development site do not represent exact supplied products and will be replaced before launch.
3. Personalisation
You are responsible for checking the spelling, capitalisation, repeated names and colour shown at checkout. We keep repeated comma-separated names because they may be intentional. All vinyls are supplied separately for you to apply. Instructions for assembly will be sent after purchase. Vinyl text may be separated into sections to fit the packaging.
4. Placing an order and our contract
Submitting an order is an offer to buy. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt, not acceptance. Our contract is formed when we send confirmation that payment has been accepted and the order can be fulfilled. We may refuse or cancel an order for a genuine reason such as payment failure, obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, delivery ineligibility or an unexpected stock discrepancy, and will refund any payment due promptly.
5. Availability
We do not ordinarily accept known out-of-stock orders. If a discrepancy is found after payment, we will contact you promptly and may offer a reasonable revised timescale. You can agree to wait or decline and receive a prompt refund.
6. Payment
Payments are processed securely by Stripe using methods made available at checkout. We do not offer interest finance or buy-now-pay-later products. A return to our success page does not itself prove payment; payment status is confirmed through Stripe’s verified notification.
7. Delivery
We currently deliver only to UK mainland addresses for a flat £4.95 per order. Orders are usually dispatched the next working day, but this is not guaranteed next-day delivery. Unless agreed otherwise, goods will be delivered within the legally required timeframe.
8. Cancellations and returns
Our Delivery & Returns policy explains statutory cancellation rights, personalised-goods exceptions and the return process. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Problems
If anything is faulty, damaged, misdescribed, incorrect or missing, please contact us. We will seek a clear and fair remedy.
10. Liability
Nothing excludes liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers may also have rights to bring proceedings in another UK jurisdiction where they live.
